To provide engineering activities of a specialized nature relating to existing plant facilities. Carries out studies, investigations,including trouble shooting, design, repeated failures of major equipment and other relevant aspects within his area of work.

Prepares, checks, reviews, bid analysis etc. of Tender specifications and related documents. Follow-up on installations to ensure they are as per design.

Gives advice and direction to both Process and Maintenance personnel as necessary in carrying out highly technical or specialized work involved with studies, projects, trouble shooting etc.

Maintains records of instrument operating technical data relating to operations requirements.
