Job Description:
Job Title : FINANCE MANAGER –Dubai
Responsibilities
To lead the day to day operations with regard to management accounting, financial accounting and treasury functions for the company and to establish the related controls and procedures
Accurate recording of sector wise Cost Sheet for creation of efficient route profitability analysis< br>
Ensure that revenue reporting is provided to management on a regular, timely and accurate basis in order that this can be used to inform and provide the basis for identifying corrective action to be taken
Accounts payable periodic review, timely payments and resolving issues with suppliers, should any arise
To ensure that adequate financial evaluation of all capital expenditure takes place, so that decisions are made on sound information and analysis
Proper accounting of accruals for operating costs, so that the Monthly Financials present a true picture
Assists in the development of financial policies and procedures and implementation thereof
Research, analyze, evaluate, and report on problem areas, including solutions
Assists in compiling information and preparing reports on matters of confidential nature or inquiry, or on a sensitive issue
Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly and Annual Financial reports to the Board/Top Management
Supervises, directs and evaluation of departmental staff
Who we are looking for
Accounting degree from a recognized university or equivalent experience in a finance office
Minimum 3 years experience in middle management
Ideally proven experience in logistics or aviation industry
Proven computer skills, including experience using Excel
Proficient in English, Arabic would be an additional benefit
Efficient and accurate with details
Sensitive, compassionate and positive; good relationship skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
