A recognized Mechanical Trade qualifications or acceptable Secondary or Tertiary qualification in engineering or metallurgy with specific knowledge of materials, corrosion, welding and NDT and QA techniques.

Minimum 5-10 years experience. |
| Experience1 |
Able to troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance in regard to mechanical integrity issues.
Knowledge of turnaround planning and the development / application of quality management systems is required.

| Experience2 |
Knowledge of working within a Petro-Chemical industry e.g. gas plants, refineries or chemical plant is required. The incumbent must have proven experience working directly with and managing contractors.
The incumbent shall have the ability to work in a team in a multicultural environment and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

| Experience3 |
Fluency in both written and verbal English is mandatory and tests will be given.
The incumbent will need to determine risk based maintenance techniques appropriate to meet operational requirements and equipment integrity.
