| Min Qualification |
HND/HNC in a Technical, Business or Economics discipline. Membership of professionally recognized Purchasing and Supply Institute preferred. |
| Min Experience |
Ten (10) years purchasing experience within the petrochemical or associated industry, Five (5) years of which having been in a Supervisory capacity. |
| Experience1 |
Purchasing experience should ideally have been gained dealing in European or American markets, with a through knowledge of purchasing principals, practices and price and availability of products from these markets. |

Should posses a detailed knowledge of current materials inventory systems allied to a working knowledge of Company supported Computer Software. |
| Experience3 |
Negotiate and oversee, in the case of large and complex orders, stage payment, bank guarantees, performance bonds and liquidated damage clauses with vendor. |
